If your institution subscribes to the print version of Molecular Cancer Research, it is entitled to access to the online version of the journal. However, your librarian must activate the online subscription before it can be used. If you explore MCR Online from an activated, eligible machine at your institution, you will automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full text display, PDFs, Medline and GenBank links, and future tables of contents. You will also see a button at the top of the page confirming that you are signed in as part of an institution.
If your institution does not have a print subscription, it cannot receive the online version of Molecular Cancer Research. If you would like to have an institutional subscription, please contact your local librarian.
Yes, individuals and institutions will continue to be able to receive the print version for the foreseeable future. At some time, the print and electronic versions may be available as separate subscriptions.
Individual Non-Member subscriptions are available to individuals, providing them with a print and electronic version of the journal. AACR Members are eligible for Member Subscriptions to MCR, providing them with a paper and electronic version of the journal. Members and Non-Members may also have access to MCR Online through an Institutional Subscription. Institutional Subscriptions are somewhat more limited than Member Subscriptions. For example, full-text access from beyond the institution's library (e.g., home or network access) is only available if the institution has purchased a site license.
You may wish to apply for AACR Membership or you may wish to purchase an Individual Non-Member print subscription which provides access to the online version. Without a subscription you have access to Tables of contents, abstracts, and full text searching (without full text viewing) at no cost and without having to register. In addition, temporary access to certain article(s) can be obtained through pay-per-view.
Information about Membership and application forms are available from the AACR Website or by contacting the AACR Member Services Department (see below).
